Welcome

Let’s get started…

Our goal is to connect patients and regional therapists who are managing a complex acute or chronic upper limb and hand conditions to specialists.

Using innovations in remote scanning and 3D printing, we can assist regional therapists to provide individualised splinting solutions for their patients.

We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, ensuring that regional patients receive the same level of acute hand therapy expertise available in the major metropolitan centres.

Or… feel free to pick up the phone and talk to one of our upper limb/hand therapists on 0436 281 893.

FAQs

  • Once we receive your X-rays and 3D scan, we will aim to have it in the post within 2 days

We use Australia Post - Express:

    • QLD: 2-4 days

    • NSW: 2-3 days

    • VIC: 2-3 days

    • SA: 3-4 days

    • NT: 4-5 days

    • WA: 4-6 days

    • TAS: 2-4 days

  • We prefer you to see your nurse at your local GP clinic to remove the cast you currently have and help fit the new one.

If not, when the splint arrives, we will give you a video call to talk it through.

  • The splint needs to be examined in 1-2 weeks after it is sent to ensure it is holding you properly.

At this stage, we organise a Telehealth video call to go over your rehabilitation plan as well.

  • Often with fractures you may require review until at least 6 weeks.

If it is a bigger injury and soft tissues are involved this is more likely 12 weeks.

We are mindful of the cost of living and try to keep reviews to a minimum.

  • If you are unsure, call us and ask.

If a fracture is outside our scope of practice we will refer you on asap to one of our consultants that can also do Telehealth consults to put your mind at ease.
